Skin cancer is a malignant or uncontrolled growth of skin cells on the epidermis layer(outmost layer)of the skin,so any malignant growth or cancer can be visibly detected. This enables rapid and successful detection and treatment of skin cancers in its early stages.
There are many types of skin cancers; some are fatal while others are just plain irritating. The main cause of skin cancer is excessive exposure of UV ray of sunlight.
However, skin cancer canalso occur in various parts of the skin that are not directly expose to sunlight.
In addition, chemical compounds and radiation too can cause skin cancer.
